With over 35 years of experience in the mortgage and loan industry, founder and lead principle BJ Hansen has discovered that the vast majority of her clients are searching for a simpler, closer-to-home solution for their contractual and legal obligation needs. With this in mind, she felt it was time to pursue a second career, laying the groundwork for what is now BJ Hansen Mobile Notaries, a local notary service that aids local companies and people in the legalization of vital papers throughout the Salt Lake City metropolitan region.
Therefore, BJ reached out to us here at Peak Design Media to assist in this newly desired corporate endeavour, working to put together a brand identity that allows her company to better align with the industry standards, and stand out to her customer base.
In order to address BJ's request, we first worked together to build out a brand strategy worksheet, using our brand strategy outline as a template for inspiration. We then dove deeply into some of her key competitors within the market, as well as some outer market mobile notary companies to understand what aspects of their brand identity is in alignment, giving us a much better ideas as to how to focus and move forward when working to put together BJ's.
Next, we designed and developed three initial design concepts for a logo, all of which having indirect and direct element concepts that reflect her presence in the market, and her company.
